Virtual Competition helps everyone working within your Active School Network to offer all children and young people the motivation and opportunities to ‘get active’.

It allows Active School Networks to

• Increase online medicine without prescription opportunities for young people to participate in sport and physical activity
• Engage young people in sport and physical activity
• Reduce travel costs and make schools sports more cost effective
• Have the opportunity to partner up with sports clubs and community organisations to give pupils a ‘pathway’ to continue their participation in sport outside of the school gates
• Improve inter and intra school sport participation figures
• Identify gifted and talented individuals as well as those needing intervention work
• Identify schools and classes performing well as well as those needing intervention work
• Whole Class Activity (doesn’t exclude anyone)

Active provides Active School Networks with the chance to reach out to local communities and give young people the chance to participate in physical activity recreationally as well as within school.  It allows all students to take part and not be left behind whilst also creating a heightened sense of participation when students are given their own access to results.  Active School Networks can truly benefit from the problem-free nature of virtual competitions and their ability to encourage every young person to ‘get active’ in much more depth.
